Emergency First Response is one of the fastest growing international first aid training organizations. During your EFR training, you are going to learn how to provide care in two kinds of typical situations: life-threatening and non-life-threatening. The courses are addressed to people who are not health professionals, and they are built upon a combination of knowledge development, skill development and realistic scenario practice. By this way, you get confidence in your ability to provide care when emergency situations arise.
Depending on your free time and interests, different (sub)courses are available: Primary Care (CPR- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), Secondary Care (First Aid), Care of Children, CPR and AED (Automated External Defibrillation). All of these courses follow the most up-to-date protocols and procedures issued by the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR). Members of this Committee are the American Heart Association (AHA), the European Resuscitation Council (ERC) e.t.c.
