Age requirements
≥15 (Children from 12 to 14 years old enroll to the PADI Junior Rescue Diver. Max depth 21m)
Minimum Prerequisite Certification
- PADI (Junior) Adventure Diver with U/W Navigation adventure dive
- EFR training within the last 24 months

It is the PADI course that takes you one step beyond: you develop skills to help the other divers if needed. From that point of view, it also brings you closer to PADI professional courses. Using a variety of techniques, you are going to learn how to manage emergency situations, how to rescue panicked or unresponsive divers. If you haven’t received first aid training yet, you start by completing the Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care course. Thus, you learn how to assist in emergency situations inside and outside the water.
