With the PADI Rescue Diver course, you earn two certifications:
Emergency First Response (EFR) – Primary and Secondary Care &
PADI Rescue Diver
You will develop life-saving skills while also learning how to manage risks and prevent accidents before they happen. This course brings you one step closer to a professional level as you gain the ability to assist others in a more structured and efficient way.
What does EFR stands for?
EFR – Emergency First Response is a leading international first-aid training organization that follows the protocols of the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR). Its members include the European Resuscitation Council (ERC), the American Heart Association (AHA), and others. For nearly 50 years, EFR has provided training materials and educational programs designed to build confidence in lay rescuers and improve their ability to respond effectively in medical emergencies before health professional help arrives.

Course structure
The course is divided into two key components:
* Knowledge Development with PADI eLearning and EFR eLearning. You will practice basic rescue skills on land before to apply them in the water
* Open water dives where you practice
– 10 rescue exercises in the water
– 2 dive accidents scenarios
Plan for about 3-4 hours per day (briefing and preparation included), for the in-water sessions.
What You’ll Achieve
By the end of the course you will be able to:
* recognize and solve problems in the water
* help other divers
* prevent the risques
* provide proper treatment in case of emergency
* fix simple gear issues
* use an emergency oxygen kit
* earn the Master Scuba Diver rating or enroll in the Divemaster professional course
If you have already completed EFR Primary and Secondary Care training (or an equivalent certification) within the past 24 months, you can enroll in the PADI Rescue Diver course without repeating the first-aid training. The curriculum remains the same, excluding the EFR component. From €390/person

Be certified as a PADI (Junior) Adventure Diver with completed u/w navigation dive or hold an equivalent qualification.
Participants must be at least 12 years old. Divers aged 12 – 14 qualify as Junior Rescue Diver. At 15, they can upgrade to a Rescue Water Diver certification without any additional training.
Participants should be in good general health. As a diver, you already have the necessary swimming skills—nothing more is needed! Before your activity, you will receive an electronic medical questionnaire along with PADI eLearning. Answering “yes” to any question doesn’t necessarily disqualify you from diving, but it does require approval from a doctor before participation in the PADI Rescue Diver course.
If you require a pick-up, please provide your hotel name or location. Pick-up service is available to and from any point in the Kassandra Peninsula. For other locations, please contact us.
